Transport workers: take action on workplace heat this summer

London Hazards Centre and Heat Strike activists are distributing this leaflet to bus drivers over the coming days and weeks. We are also calling on passengers to petition TfL for urgent action on overheated buses.

Noone in London is safe during the summer heatwaves so long as the bus companies refuse to install effective air conditioning on our buses. As cab temperatures soar to over 40C, drivers are at high risk of heat stroke and collapsing at the wheel.
